Jewellery Tutorials are a perfect fit for me, which means my tutorials are perfect for you. Here's why:
* I'm a self-taught wire artist, since 1998, so I know what it's like to struggle with a new technique or to work without special tools, and you'll find workarounds in my tutorials.
* My day job is to write course curriculum for online, adult learners, and I'm good at it. I know how to teach you no matter how you learn best! Many of my techniques are designed to efficiently put into production, leading to tutorial stages which you can easily follow.
Look for a unique wire style, lots of color, asymmetry, irregular gemstones, inexpensive non-tarnish wire, some steampunk elements, and even some polymer clay.
You keep watching, and I'll keep looking for exciting new ways to help you make jewellery!

2019-2021 and now it's nearly 2022
A wee explanation of the crickets on this channel, plus a hint of what might be next. If I can get through late-stage capitalism, climate catastrophe, and a global pandemic.

Simple Wire Wrap With Accidental Asymmetry Lesson - Freeform Wire Art Jewelry style
Переглядів 2,5 тис.5 років тому
Two quick pendants - or a pair of earrings? Watch as I DIY a simple wire wrap. I'm experimenting with camera setups. I want to be able to quickly shoot & edit videos for you so I do it more often! Camera Two was a little blurry but it had a better shot in a couple of places due to my hands being in the way of Camera One, so I chose it when appropriate. I've got a few changes planned to the setu...

Adventures in Hobo Soldering - Using Low Temp Solder in Jewellery
Переглядів 25 тис.6 років тому
I've become the fashion jewellery expert at the repair shop and that suits me perfectly well. If something can't be soldered for real, I might glue it. Or, I might try to use the low-temp soldering iron instead - which led to some experiments at home... which is what I've recorded for you. Short, related blog post at: gaylebird.com/2018/04/10/adventures-in-hobo-soldering

Upgrading Metal - Faux Silver
Переглядів 1,1 тис.6 років тому
I started an experiment to figure out what was the best way to change the silver colour of my pewter findings, and decided to film it! Unfortunately, the lighting was TERRIBLE. I did my best in post-processing, but the quality just sucks until 23:00, which is where the results and my ratings begin. Feel free to skip to that point :)

Ornament Series No 6

A little silly, this is the sixth and final video in this experiment of film-as-I-go design! I may do more like this in the future; however expect to keep seeing structured tutorials as well. We'll find what works best for us! Comment your preference :)
I enjoyed seeing the techniques you used.
Are you making this under a waterfall? Terrible noise!
By the way if you put a small bead in the Pebeo paints when you shake them they mix better. I love the crackle effect you got on the disk as they were drying and once they were dry they are really pretty.
My beads cords etc have made it down all over floor because i decided to reorganize when I added yet another facet of jewelry genre. Help ?
The loud background noise was so distracting. I couldn’t concentrate on what you were doing. It was so loud I quit watching one minute in.
Some audio would have been nice. At least what's the gauge of The wire?
Celleand job!!
Nice. Can you please tell me the length of the wire and which guage you have used .Will be extremely useful .
Excellent tutorial! I really appreciate how you filmed each step, including the baking process. Thank you so much for sharing your process. ❤️
Thanks so much for the video on wrapping sea glass. The audio was great! Very clear instruction 😊
Nice...thank you! I live on Lake Erie & have a ton of Beach Glass & want to play but needed a tip!
I like this video 📹 very much. Art with instincts. THX
Very nice. I love your Christmas tree ornament!
You should’ve talked and said how and what we need to use!! Not good at all!
I'm sorry to bother you with a question but I could not find in the video how much wire you cut for the project. I am a beginner so with the curly cues I don't know how much wire I will need. I just now ordered your book, it looks like so much fun!
I love this type of wire wrapping. I'm new to this so I haven't tried it yet. It looks creative and fun.
I love the simplicity and beauty of the design. Thank you for this tutorial.
It looks like and feels like I'm a at the beach creating! Thank you!
Where to buy filigree backs? Beautiful

How do I use an adjustable chain on bale so that the wrapped seagrass does not turn around?
I was really looking forward to you talking your demo, disappointing! The background noise was distracting - quit watching at 0.26. Will search for someone who likes to narrate their tutorial.
I agree with you., the loud background noise was so loud distracting that I couldn’t concentrate what she was doing, I stopped watching only one minute in !!!
How are you doing? Any update on how things are going?
Just shows what you can get done in 2 hours.I will give it a try!
Muchas vueltas y le quita la belleza de la piedra
Que numero de alambre usas o como se llama? Gracias lindo trabajo
What kind of wire and gauge?
Are you coming back? Sure hope so.
Can you please point me to the video you mentioned about using nail polish in your jewelry?
I LOVE how this is a silent tutorial. Simple, no fluffy and wordy, long explanations while waving the finished product in front of the camera to where you have to ffwd through to the action. Thanks for the thorough tutorial. So simple and easy to follow! I'm going to look up more of her videos!
thank you for simple way to wrap, but what I cannot find is a tutorial on how to have a loop on both ends in order to make a mobile that is not glued to fishing line please reply
It would be helpful if you could show us how you got your copper black before polishing it.

Love all the colors and their brightness. Very pretty pendants and better yet, they look rather simple to create ( of course, we all know that that isn't always true). Still beautiful pendants to compliment every color scheme .Thank you for showing us how to make these!💚🧡💙🤎🤍💥👍🙂

My hooks and eyes don't look good. I needed help and found your tutorial. You clearly show how to make them. Exactly the style I was trying to make. Thank you so much.
Can i slightly bend the endcap loop together a little bit on the end of my 10k 2mm cuban link chain so that it passes through the bail of a pendant that i have or is that not a good idea?
